Stroke

Stroke is a disease that occurs as a result of impaired cerebral blood circulation. A stroke may cause damage to brain tissue, and a life-threatening condition may occur. Stroke symptoms may include headaches, slurred speech, impaired coordination and balance, impaired vision, or paralysis.

What are the symptoms of stroke?

Stroke usually causes muscle weakness in one part of the face. If you suspect someone’s had a stroke, you can ask them to smile.  No changes occur on one side of the stroke survivor's face. Similarly, you can ask the person who has had a stroke to raise their arms. He will not be able to raise his arm on one side.

When asked to speak, they may have speech disorders and have difficulty choosing the right words. Finally, time is very important in stroke. If you see signs of stroke in someone, immediately report the situation to healthcare professionals. You should also tell exactly when stroke symptoms started.
